Now there’s a lot to love when you’re talking about Lee Child’s Killing Field his first book and basis for the new 2022 Prime streaming goliath Jack Reacher series,.The Reacher bingeing worthy series is true to Child’s intention but of course true to form the book series is always better. Written as the misunderstood retired special ops walking weapon but a lean thinking monster cousin; he makes a terrific one-man wrecking ball specimen with a gentle soul and ninja moves. So lean in his personal life he has sworn off comforts and things. All things. He travels around with a toothbrush in his pocket and changes clothes only when he encounters a thrift shop rather than have to pack clothes on his solitary journey intent on running away from the past.

More or less a fish out of water tale Reacher is a landshark that drops in the shallows of smalltown USA, where the fish are nervous and the jaws of justice swift. A walking chiseled physical solution taking out bad guys a handful at a time, the multi-disciplined martial artist payback machine locks-on and gets to work to root out corruption and nasty evildoers wherever they lurk.
